Global Butterfly Challenge for Schools 2025 🦋

🌸 Dear Teacher,
Make your class nature champions! The Bushbaby-Society, an organization dedicated to promoting biodiversity and environmental education, invites school classes worldwide to participate in the Global Butterfly Challenge 2025. Together, we aim to inspire young minds to discover the wonders of butterflies while actively contributing to nature conservation.

🌍 About the Bushbaby-Society:
We are committed to protecting butterflies and their habitats. Through exciting initiatives like the Global Butterfly Challenge, we aim to show children and young people how important biodiversity is for our planet—and encourage them to take action.


🌿 Why participate?

  • Discover and learn: Your students will experience the incredible transformation of caterpillars into butterflies while learning about nature.
  • Support biodiversity: Raising and releasing butterflies directly contributes to preserving your region’s wildlife.
  • Make a difference together: Your class will join a global movement of young conservationists!


🌟 How it works:

  1. Raise butterflies: Collect caterpillars or use a butterfly kit to nurture them with care until they are ready to fly.
  2. Document the journey: Capture the exciting moments of your butterfly-rearing journey in photos—from caterpillar to release.
  3. Submit your results: Send us your photos and the number of butterflies released by September 30, 2025.

🥇 1st Place: Tickets to a natural history museum of your choice for the entire class
🥈 2nd Place: Tickets to a natural history museum of your choice for the entire class
🥉 3rd Place: Tickets to a natural history museum of your choice for the entire class
